Transmitter is proud to host the art book launch of Wara Wara Jawira: Cosmic Transmutation hosted by the Bolivian Pavillion at the 59th Biennale de Venezia. This showcase underscores the vibrant artistry of Bolivia on a global stage. It is an opportunity to delve into Bolivian culture and the narratives that shape this notable project—celebrating the interplay of art, culture, diplomacy, and collective art-making. Through collective tenacity, the vibrant history of art-making is transmitted, shared, and explored through found objects, videos, prints, paintings, and media. With infusions of Andean culture, traditional styles resonate and loop into contemporary objects. Unquestionably Indigenous in its collective heart and presentation.
